A police investigation is underway after a young man was stabbed to death outside a London shop.
Detectives are investigating whether the 22-year-old victim may have been hit by a car and chased down before the attack in Southall.
The man was found injured outside a shop in The Broadway at around 4am on Monday.
Police said he was taken to hospital suffering from a stab wound but pronounced dead shortly before 5.30am.
"Formal identification awaits and a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course," a spokesperson for Scotland Yard said. "Inquiries into how the victim sustained his injuries are ongoing."

Witnesses told the Evening Standard
“The poor guy was hit by a car," one said. "He managed to get up again and try to run but he was being chased by two or three others on foot. He must have been stabbed after that.”
No arrests have been made and the investigation continues, with a large area around the scene of the crime cordoned off for forensic examination.
There have been 105 homicides in London so far this year, compared to 104 by the same point in 2018.
So far in 2019 there have been 39 victims aged under 25, of whom 21 were teenagers.
In 2018 there had been 40 victims under 25, of whom 16 were teenagers.
